Wanted: Horse to lease (Posted 10/4/09)

I am looking for an eventing horse for 3/4 to full lease. I am a responsible 16 yr old intermediate rider and I need a horse that I can take to events and pony club things. I have only competed hopeful but schooled beginning novice due to lack of a good mount and would like to find a horse to lease that could help me advance in eventing. I would prefer a more trained experienced horse as I am looking for an alternative to the green horse I ride now. I work regularly with a trainer and would continue to with any horse I lease. I am a D-2 in Cascade Reins Pony Club and also need a horse that I could take my D-3 rating on and eventually my C-1 rating. Good trailering skills and ground manners a must. Care Lease, Lease to Own, or For Sale.- Zippos Irish Dude – “Buddy” is a 14.1 20 yr. old Appaloosa/QH/TB gelding. He has been shown at 2nd level and has schooled 3rd level, evented successfully at novice and been pony clubbed through the C3.  In dressage, Buddy has earned scores into the 70s at training level and averaged a 65% at first level; he’s also a very cute and clean jumper.  He’s a super friendly, relaxed, and easy-going guy who stands like a gentleman for the farrier and vet, and also easy to vaccinate and worm. Puff is a great athlete, at age 20 he still hardly breaks a sweat after a workout. Puff is a well mannered gentleman who clips, bathes and hauls great. Wonderful ground manners. Loves to go cross country and trail riding. We are his 2nd owner, previous owner did lots of eventing with him, he is a point and shoot kinda boy on cross country.
